Lead Road Designer

AECOM is looking for an experienced Lead Road Designer to lead road and transport infrastructure design projects. You will create and manage roadway designs using 12d Model and/or OpenRoads Designer, working with engineering teams from planning through project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design road alignments, cross-sections, and corridor models.
2. Create design drawings, terrain models, and quantity estimates.
3. Coordinate with drainage, utilities, structures, traffic, and survey teams.
4. Ensure designs meet industry standards and client requirements.
5. Support BIM and digital delivery processes.
6. Maintain project documentation and design records.

Requirements

✅ 10+ years of road/highway design experience

✅ Strong experience with 12d Model and/or OpenRoads Designer

✅ Good understanding of geometric road design standards

✅ Knowledge of drainage and utility coordination

✅ Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
