Ignition IT is an Apple-focused IT support company with nearly 30 years of experience. We help businesses solve technology problems while providing friendly and reliable customer support.

We are looking for a Help Desk Technician to join our fully remote team. This is a full-time work-from-home position for someone who enjoys helping people and solving technical issues.

What You’ll Do

  1. Help clients with IT and technical support issues
  2. Set up Macs, user accounts, email, and devices for new employees
  3. Offboard employees and remove access when needed
  4. Troubleshoot email, login, Zoom, and conference room problems
  5. Support Apple devices, Windows PCs, and cloud platforms
  6. Respond to support tickets and provide updates to clients
  7. Work with teammates when issues need escalation

Technologies You’ll Work With

  1. macOS and iOS
  2. Apple Business Manager and MDM tools
  3. Windows PCs
  4. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
  5. Okta, Entra ID, MFA, and security tools
  6. Slack, Zoom, networking, and conference room systems

You do not need to know everything already — we want someone who enjoys learning new technology.

What We’re Looking For

  1. At least 2 years of IT support experience
  2. Comfortable using Apple products and the Apple ecosystem
  3. Good communication and customer service skills
  4. Able to work independently from home
  5. Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
  6. Strong problem-solving skills
  7. Calm and professional when helping frustrated users
  8. Interested in learning and improving technical skills

Job Details

  1. Salary starts around $50,000–$65,000 per year for junior-level candidates in the USA
