We are now looking for a Senior Director of Content Strategy & Acquisition to join our team in Midtown Manhattan.
In this high-impact role, you will take the lead on Fubo’s relationships with major English-language broadcast and cable networks. You will play a vital part in our mission to deliver premium content through a best-in-class user experience.
Your Primary Responsibilities
As a Senior Director, you will bridge the gap between content partners and our internal strategy teams. Your daily work will directly influence the entertainment choices of millions of subscribers.
- Lead Network Relationships: You will manage day-to-day interactions with our domestic broadcast and cable partners.
- Negotiate Major Deals: You will lead, negotiate, and close content deals that align with Fubo’s financial goals.
- Collaborate Internally: You must work with cross-functional teams to prepare for content launches, UI updates, and marketing campaigns.
- Analyze Contracts: You will interpret complex licensing agreements to ensure all distribution requirements are met.
- Manage Partner Payments: You will oversee the financial health of our content partnerships.
Required Qualifications
We are looking for a self-starter with deep roots in the pay TV and OTT ecosystems. To qualify for this role, you should meet these requirements:
- Deal-Making Experience: At least 10+ years of experience leading and closing high-level content deals.
- Industry Background: 10+ years managing relationships with broadcast/cable groups or distributors.
- Digital Expertise: A minimum of 5+ years in digital media, specifically within the OTT video space.
- Tech Knowledge: A strong understanding of OTT distribution technology and architecture.
- Local Presence: You must be located in NYC and able to work from the office three days a week (Tuesday–Thursday).
