King County Superior Court is looking for an energetic Senior Applications Developer to join our team in downtown Seattle. We are one of the most forward-thinking courts in the country. Our team delivers custom software solutions using the modern Microsoft technology stack.
In this role, you will lead the development of enterprise-level projects that directly improve the court’s efficiency. More importantly, your work will enhance access to services and justice for underserved communities in our diverse population.
What You Will Do
As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the full software development life cycle. You will blend complex engineering with attractive, user-friendly design.
- Architect & Develop: You will contribute to software architecture design and write clean, scalable code.
- Lead Quality Control: You will carry out regular code reviews and mentor other developers.
- Cloud & DevOps: You will maintain cloud-based services and manage deployments using Microsoft Azure.
- Problem Solve: You will troubleshoot performance issues and resolve complex software bugs.
- Support UX Design: You will create wireframes and prototypes to ensure a consistent, responsive brand experience.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who combines technical mastery with a passion for public service.
- Experience: You have 5+ years of professional experience with the Microsoft development stack.
- Front-End Mastery: You are an expert in JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue) as well as HTML5 and CSS3.
- Back-End Expertise: You are proficient in C#, LINQ, and RESTful APIs.
- Cloud Knowledge: You have experience with Microsoft Azure CI/CD and Microservices architecture.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Location: You must reside in Washington State and be able to travel to the King County Courthouse as needed.
